About Hillclimb Media

Hillclimb Media was founded in 1999 to develop premium pay-for-content web sites, creating value for both customers and publishers. The launch of our first web property, Trails.com, in spring of 2000 introduced our innovative method of developing vertical markets around the delivery of premium print content via the Internet. Since then, we have expanded into other large vertical markets by replicating our original business model, and we now hold several award-winning web properties, all leaders in their respective market sectors.

By leveraging the value of published print media from books and magazines, we have been able to generate very large volumes of unique web content, creating highly desirable online services. This builds on the established, offline markets of our publishing partners to develop new revenue streams for traditional print-focused businesses. On top of driving additional revenues, the online channel we create also helps to establish brand recognition and to boost sales of physical products.

With a proven business model, stable technology platform, and patent-pending digital content delivery system, Hillclimb Media is poised for expansion into many new markets. In addition to our ongoing market research and development efforts, we are focusing energy on growing our existing web properties at every stage of the customer-acquisition process, through internet traffic generation, visitor conversion, and retention of existing subscribers. Valuable features and services are always being added to our family of websites, including community-based services for members to share information and plan their lifestyle events.
